Background
A black-grey striped weren who has taken much of a chivalry
code to heart. A weren destined for
greatness and honor, prophesized by the great Togruelar tendelar (Purifier
shaman), Thuzad of Shade. Seen in omens
and changes in the stars, Thuzad saw the striped one as special. One who would “lead” all off-world werens
back to “Kurg” by example. To give them
guidance and place, social understanding to which to adhere too. He would be become a parag by his own hand.
Thuzad marked the youngling with fire and fueled him with
these ambitious claims. He has trained
hard and willingly. Upon concluding
with his schooling, Thuzad prepared the young warrior with a rite of passage
and a mark. A final treatise that all
Kurg weren would know, understand, and draw strength from. The Ebon Flame, a Weren artifact from the
Black Wars, was implanted into Urik.
This is an opaque diamond hard mineral in which a black flame seems to
leap and dance in its heart, protrudes from his chest. A legendary device to which the weren claim
gave Krazhe the Wise incite in understanding brimstone.
After this, Urik joined an Orlamnu freighter and became more
adapted to the new technology ways of life.
Feeling he should become one with these strange worlds and customs, to
better understand their direction, he has become cybernetic. What better way for the warrior to grow and
“conquer” than to become like of that which one needs to “defeat”. “That which does not kill us, makes us
stronger.” Urik treks the vast worlds
now to bring fulfill to all weren and to bring their destiny full circle.
